Jean-Yves Tourneret received the Eng. degree in Electrical Engineering from ENSEEIHT, Toulouse, France, and the M.Sc. degree in Signal Processing from the National Polytechnic Institute of Toulouse, both in 1989. He received the Ph.D. degree in Signal Processing from the National Polytechnic Institute of Toulouse in 1992. He joined the electrical engineering department of the enginnering school ENSEEIHT in 1993 as an Assistant Professor. He obtained the habilitation degree (HDR) in Signal Processing from the National Polytechnic Institute of Toulouse in 1998. He moved to the telecommunication and networking department of the enginnering school ENSEEIHT in 2002 where he is currently a professor. He is with the Signal and Communication Group of the IRIT Laboratory (UMR 5505 of the CNRS).
